My name is Jamie Sehrt, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I specialize in mental health with a focus on helping individuals navigate trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, domestic violence, and relationship difficulties.
I am deeply inspired by the resilience of the human spirit and the capacity we all have to heal and grow. Guiding others on their journey toward self-discovery, understanding, and meaningful change is not just my profession—it is my purpose.
Outside of my work, I am a mother, partner, advocate, and survivor. I find grounding and joy in connecting with nature, exploring holistic healing practices, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. These experiences continue to shape who I am—both as a person and as a therapist—and reinforce my belief in the power of compassion, curiosity, and hope in healing.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Dakota.
I am licensed to practice in North Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, & Utah.

My approach to therapy is both compassionate and practical. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT and EMDR but also use compassionate inquiry to help you explore your past and present with curiosity and care. I work collaboratively with you to uncover patterns, build insight, and move toward healing at a pace that feels right for you. I'm here to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself.
Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and more connected to themselves. Together, we’ll work toward understanding the deeper layers of your emotional world—how your experiences shape your thoughts, feelings, and patterns. Over time, you'll gain practical tools to manage anxiety and stress, while also learning to approach yourself with greater compassion and clarity. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling more empowered, self-aware, and equipped to navigate life with intention and resilience.
